Ever since I saw them perform live at Melkweg in Amsterdam in 2005, Phoenix has consistently occupied the rarefied space known to the privileged few as my car's 6-disc CD changer. This is a big deal--only 5 other CDs can reside in rotation at any given time. The francophonic ultrasonic foursome team up once again with Philippe Zdar, the man behind the decks of their first studio recording United, for their fourth oeuvre titled Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
