APOLIS x KATIN Classic Swim Trunk

Apolis Activism continues their successful collaboration with California surfwear originators, Katin with the upcoming release of a chambray version of their popular joint venture (pictured below). Based on the original Kanvas by Katin's Contender pattern, Apolis' Classic Swim Trunk by Katin features a single large horizontal stripe, a right side flap pocket with key loop, belt extension details, and a 3oz draw string robe fastener. To announce the release and to give us a more in-depth look into their work with Katin, Apolis recently released this short film.

Designer Sally McDonald and graphic artist Micah Handorf are the husband-&-wife team behind Aussie fashion label Rittenhouse, aptly named after Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square and a working tribute to the park which bordered McDonald and Handorf’s erstwhile residence. Based in Sydney, Rittenhouse has earned critical and popular acclaim with the label's use of high grade fabrics, materials, patterns & prints to create timeless classics that benefit from McDonald and Handorf's eye for subtle twists and nuanced details.

In Persona, twenty-nine-year-old photographer Jason Travis endeavors to satiate his curiosity surrounding "what [others] deem important in their lives" by photographing artists, musicians, and filmmakers in his native Georgia, along with the contents of their carryalls. Voyeurism aside, Travis' ongoing exploration aims to find a link between consumerism and community, whether who we are is defined by what we buy, and to what degree.
